Description
Masjid Alkaff Kampung Melayu offers a weekly Tahlil dan Doa Selamat service, giving you the opportunity to include the names of your loved ones - whether living or deceased - in our Thursday night congregational tahlil.
You may submit up to five names with a minimum contribution of $10 for the Tahlil and/or Doa Selamat. If you wish to support the Masjid Alkaff Kampung Melayu Upgrading Project (MUP), you may add on a higher amount under the custom amount selection. All names received will be read during the weekly tahlil, led by our asatizah.
To be included in the current week’s session, please submit names by 3pm on Wednesday. Names submitted after this deadline will be carried over to the following week’s tahlil.
All proceeds from this service will be channelled to the Masjid Alkaff Kampung Melayu Upgrading Project (MUP) as sadaqah jariyah.
Terms
Name Submission
- You may submit up to five names per registration.
- Names can be for the living or deceased. Please indicate Almarhum or Almarhumah where applicable.
- Names must be submitted by 3pm every Wednesday to be included in that week’s Thursday tahlil. Submissions after this deadline will be included in the following week.
- Names submitted are strictly for that week’s session only. To include the same names again, a new submission must be made the following week. No automatic rollover of names will be made.
Donation Amount
- A minimum contribution of $10 is required for each submission, covering the Tahlil and/or Doa Selamat.
- For those who wish to contribute to the Mosque Upgrading Project (MUP), you may add on under the custom amount selection.
- All contributions are non-refundable and will be treated as sadaqah jariyah.
Tahlil and Doa Selamat Process
- Names will be included in the weekly tahlil led by appointed asatizah every Thursday at Masjid Alkaff Kampung Melayu
- Donors are welcome to attend the session in person.
Acknowledgement and Privacy
- Donor information will be kept confidential and used solely for the administration of this service.
- Names will be read as submitted unless anonymity is requested.
